Prayer Life...

Prayers for Nell

Florita called with a prayer request for her friend Nell.  Nell is an Episcopalian and long time Sewardian. She had a heart attack yesterday and is currently in Anchorage for treatment. Her spirits are good and she is asking for a toothbrush!  Please hold Nell and family in your prayers.

A prayer request

Lorraine M. is requesting prayers for her daughter-in-law, Julie, in Washington, who’s doctor has discovered she has tumors in the area of her liver. A cat scan is scheduled for tomorrow. Please hold Julie, and her family, and our dear Lorraine, in your prayers.

Prayer request…

Valerie, formerly from Seward, is struggling with auto-immune disease and difficulty breathing. She has been in and out of the ER. She needs prayers for an accurate diagnosis and successful healing.

Also, please be in prayer for the family and many friends of Georgina Dapcevich, one of our conference’s lay leaders from Sitka, who passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer.

Prayers for one of our Alaska Conference pastors…

We learned today that Imelda Ramos and her new husband, Bob Woolf, vacationing in Imelda’s home country of the Philippines, were prevented from leaving the Philippines due to a visa problem.  They spent a very frustrating day and were told this could take months. The Annual Conference staff is  working at providing necessary paperwork.

Please hold Bob and Imelda in your prayers.
