Tonight at Moose Pass chuch at 6:00 pm; we will have a potluck for the VIM team as they prepare to return to North Carolina. They have been simply amazing as they have transformed the sanctuary into a beautiful worship space. Please come out and show our appreciation for this wonderful team of Christians that have blessed us with their gifts and talents.
The VIM team visited Homer on Sunday, and the Moose Pass congregation gathered for Pastor Peter’s last Sunday preaching here. This is what the nearly completed sanctuary looks like today. Some trim work, tile flooring, carpeting, cabinets, and a new door remain to be done.
We hope that all of you are planning to be in worship on Sunday for Pastor Peter’s last sermon as pastor of Seward and Moose Pass.
Worship at Moose Pass is at 9:00 am as usual in spite of remodeling and at 11:00 am at the Seward church.
Great time at the Seward United Methodist church tonight… bbq’d fish and lots of delish homemade side dishes and desserts as we said a thank you to the Moose Pass volunteer team… after dinner we had a great old-fashioned hymn sing-a-long! Thanks to all who worked hard making it a wonderful night! It was great to welcome the hard-working VIM team members, and also great to bring together Seward and Moose Pass folks!
