Seward Memorial and Moose Pass United Methodist Churches are congregations in the Alaska Conference, a mission conference of the United Methodist Church. We are a mission outpost. Long ago, John Wesley sent missionaries to America with a goal: “to spread scriptural holiness throughout the land.” That remains the primary task of missionaries in Alaska today as we seek to make disciples for Jesus Christ in this beautiful but challenging land. We can't do it alone! We are here doing ministry because of the long-time support of our parish partners, individuals and churches, who give regular support to this ministry.
The best way to partner financially with ministry in Alaska is through the Advance, the official program of mission support within the United Methodist Church. The Advance is second mile giving that extends your Christian work into every corner of the globe. Missionaries and mission projects are given an Advance number that allows you to support specific ministries.

Make a Contribution!
To give through the Advance, make your checks payable to your local United Methodist church and write the Advance Number and/or project name on the check. Your church treasurer will forward your gift. You can give by credit card by calling the General Board of Global Ministries toll-free at 888-252-6174, Monday-Friday during business hours (eastern standard time), or visit the online donation site.
