1st Sunday After Easter (April 11, 2021)

Out of an abundance of care and caution, the people of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Moose Pass United Methodist Church, and Seward United Methodist Church bring you an online worship experience. It is an act of love for the communities we serve to provide this safe alternative to gathering in person.

This week we have something different.

Your leadership from Seward and Moose Pass United Methodist Churches and Resurrection Lutheran Church have been gifted with an online worship experience to take a breather from the work of worship production. This service follows the Lectionary and has multiple voices and leaders.

According to the Greater Northwest Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church:

"In partnership with staff members of the Pacific Northwest Conference (PNW) and the Regional Media Center, the Rev. Meredith Dodd has designed a worship experience for the First Sunday after Easter with contributors from across the region joining her. We hope this will bless local church members and give pastors and digital worship leaders a needed reprieve.
The week’s lectionary text (John 20:19-31, Jesus appears to Thomas) shapes the service and message with testimonials on how Jesus walks through walls to bring peace, forgiveness and healing. Participants add their gifts of music and reading to compliment this message.

Next week, we will again collaborate locally to bring you an online worship experience.

Worship will be “Premiered” on the Seward/Moose Pass UMC Facebook page at 10:30 AM but will thereafter be available on the Facebook Page and our YouTube Channel. You may also find Sue McClure’s pre-worship music from previous weeks there.
