WORSHIP SERVICE — 10:30 AM
Out of an abundance of care and caution, the people of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Moose Pass United Methodist Church, and Seward United Methodist Church continue to bring you an online worship experience. Even as we move toward gathering together, carefully, we recognize that it is safer for many to continue with “virtual worship.”
Today, Rev. Jim Doepken preaches on “The Miracles in the Desert,” namely, that MANNA FROM HEAVEN. This is our continuation of our journey through The Exodus. Rev. Ben Bohart and family are back with a Lego Children’s Time. And wait for the end for an invitation to help out with a “congregational song.”
There are a couple “Thank Yous” that we need to offer for the service today:
—To Aimie Morgan for her song, “Alaska Hymn (The Fireweed Song)” today. Aimie’s song really speaks to how God provides in the midst of our troubles. —Thank you to First-Plymouth Church of Lincoln, Nebraska for letting us use their version of “All Who Hunger, Gather Gladly” which is about God providing for us. —And thank you to Rev. Justin White for his arrangement of “And Are We Yet Alive” — another song about God’s providence and important to United Methodist folk. —Thanks, as usual, to Sue McClure for pre-worship music that is provided as a separate video upload. —Thanks to Jim Fredrickson and Rhonda Bohart for photography and video in the pre-worship music.
Worship will be “Premiered” on the Seward/Moose Pass UMC Facebook page but will thereafter be available on the Facebook Page and our YouTube Channel. You may also find Sue McClure’s pre-worship music there.
