Seward UMC

Seward UMC is located at 321 4th Avenue in Seward Alaska.

Our worship time is 11 AM and we have Sunday School most Sundays (September-May) at 10 AM.

Everyone is invited to worship. Everyone is invited to come to the communion table (which is most every week). And everyone is invited to participate, fully, in the life of the congregation. As is often said before communion, "All persons are welcome to receive. It doesn't matter where you come from or where you're going to. All this is God's free gift to you."

And so, yes, you are welcome here. We won't be concerned about what you're wearing or what baggage you bring.

​

We have a "children's time" during the sermon portion of our worship for those (about) 6 years old or younger. And we almost always have a fellowship time with coffee and snacks after worship.

 

We do have a United Methodist Women's Group, a Bell Choir, and participants on many local boards and agencies as we strive to reach out to "the least of these."
